The Obama Change Glow...

Reading what the guys at IBC wrote about me, does not really make a difference to my thoughts, nor my joy at Obama winning. Infact it added a small smile to my face this Friday morning. Thank you!!!

I just don’t understand though, the dismay of many people to Obama being elected president. I don’t understand why so many people are angry. IBC, it was YOUR people that voted for him, not I. It was YOUR people that came out in large numbers and selected him, umm not I. It was YOUR people that partied in the streets with joy, not I. So maybe, you should write a post about how the American people were soo sooo wrong in your opinion.

Those millions who voted for Obama must have seen something worthwhile in him to want a change, don’t you think? Or am I just too delusional? It wasn’t the American people who voted. Oh I get it, it was some fleet of aliens that landed secretly on American soil and casted their votes. Yeah that’s it. Those hungry for change people weren’t people afterall.

Its shameful to see educated people like yourselves denounce your new government. Oh and please correct your post, it was just I who wanted Obama, HUBBY, who if you recall from my posts “the males in my family wanted McCain” wanted McCain. So please take him out of the equation since he isn’t here to read the BS. As for the Pay cheques you so eloquently put it, yes I did get paid. Like any hardworking person who does their job in the best of their ability. But umm, let me remind you something, the money that all of us in Iraq got paid, including the Americans who were getting four to three times more than I was, was NOT from Bush’s pocket. Correct me if Im wrong, did Bush himself pay our cheques? Was it his hard earned money? Hmmm, maybe I’M REALLY DELUSIONAL NOW.

All the money that was spent in Iraq or Afghanistan, came from YOUR pockets. The Tax Payers pockets. The same tax payers that voted for Obama. And if you weren’t as superficial as you turned out to be, you should have read my posts and UNDERSTOOD them. My choice for Obama is solely for a selfish reason. Like any Iraqi, I want a solution to the mayhem in my country. Had you read my previous posts,
Blatant Neurotic Iraqi Truth you would know that I don’t blame the Americans anymore, I infact put the chaos to what Iraq has become on the shoulders of the Iraqi government. So again get YOUR facts straight.

And yes I still go for Obama. I read a few posts about what a bad choice Obama is for Iraq, especially knowing what Biden suggested awhile back for dividing Iraq. YES AND SO? If that’s the only solution that will save Iraq from further bloodshed, then be it. Iraq is already divided if you havent noticed. What kind of country has replicas of ministries and ministers governing? You did know that right?

Im sure you are so knowledgeable about my country that you know in the Northern part they have their own ministries. They make their own decisions. Umm, not sure what you call that? A beautiful cooperation? As for the South, now that’s a different story. Although there are no ministries, but they have representative offices. Which is fine right? Only natural. BUT its not so NATURAL, if the individual that manages these offices makes his own decisions, backed NOT by the government, but by his own PARTY. So umm, again I dunno what you call this. In hindsight Iraq IS divided.

The Bush administration had given so much to the Iraqi govt on a gold plate. And Im sure you will not argue with me on this point. And I hope you will agree with me, that the Iraqi govt didn’t do much. I will give you a simple example. Something that although shocked me, but didn’t surprise me. A few days ago, I was chatting with HUBBY. I felt something was wrong. I asked him why the bad mood. He said: Neurotica you wont believe this. We did the site check, and the final walk through, for the project to be handed over. The DG, Director General, refused to sign the handover papers”

A few days later, that same DG, came to my HUBBY and said, I will only sign this paper, if you give me money. WHAT THE HELL!!! HUBBY ofcourse replied as calmly as he can and said “Listen, this millions of dollars project is FOR YOU. FOR YOUR PEOPLE. For YOUR COUNTRY. If you don’t want to sign for it, then be it, but don’t expect one dime” And he left it at that. But while HUBBY was recalling the story to me, he was fuming. No, fuming is an understatement. He was appalled and disgusted and vowed that he will bring this man down.

I tried calming him down, and told him, to let it go, and NOT do anything stupid. Afterall he is in a country that’s governed by the law of the jungle. If he does try doing anything and telling anyone, that DG, will definitely try and harm him. But HUBBY wouldn’t have it. He went on by saying how hard people work to try and lend a hand to these people, yet in the end, they get ungrateful grunts. He finally is reaching the point that I have reached. He finally is realizing, that the dream of “Taking part in Iraq’s reconstruction” does no longer have a sweet taste. Infact, it leaves bitterness in your mouth.

Had McCain won, that same comfort cushion would have still been there for the ignorant govt we have. Don’t you see it? But I guess since you are too blinded by the hatred you have towards change, you will be too blind to see what a catastrophe McCain would have been for Iraq. Im gonna keep it at that. And hey thanks again for adding a smile to my face this Friday morning. Oh and by the way, since you are soooooo interested in my shoe state, I bought a whole new shoe rack. Thanks for asking. And Im so chuffed that you have dedicated one whole post on me. :)

Anyhow, I still have that after glow. That amazing after glow, from the results of YOUR people voting. Yeah my face is glowing believe it or not. Its glowing that glow. The Obama Change Glow…

November 7, 2008 at 2:51 PM

LMAO, funnier than seeing the IBC dumb assess desperately looking for a delusional explanation for Obama's victory is seeing Fox News now saying that Palin in fact was a bad choice because she even didn't know that Africa is a continent, not a country (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MWZHTJsR4Bc). Hell, a black US president is an unbelievable surprise, but nothing compared to Fox News requiring intelligence from their politics.
Apparently Obama is changing Fox News too, hurray!

November 7, 2008 at 2:56 PM

KK!!!Wow you finally liked something :)

Anon, I guess ignorance is all relative to some people, lol

Anon, LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL...Thats just too funny. Made me smile even more. It seriously turning out to be a great Friday for me, lol. Africa is a country!!!WOW. Some intelligence she has there. Even my 5 year old niece knows what Africa is. And fox news, I never liked them. The most biased AND deceitful channel I have ever seen. Thank god I dont have it here, or else I woulda destroyed so many "precious" shoes by throwing them at the tv...Thanks for the link btw

November 7, 2008 at 3:14 PM

Wow, neurotic you get to see the right wing mind set from IBC. These people also believe in UFO's.

November 7, 2008 at 3:46 PM

NIW,

IBC consists of different people who don't hang out with each other and don't converse except on the comments of posts. While Jeffery is theoretically in charge, he does not exhibit any control over what is and is not posted. So, your fight is really with Mr Ghost.

MG does have a point about Obama's pledge to pull US troops from Iraq regardless, and how that leaves people like you exposed. But I have slowly become convinced Obama will not keep *any* promise about Iraq if it means the Iraqi democracy will fail during his term in office.

But as for me, 1) I was quite disappointed to see McCain receive the Republican nomination. 2) Then after 6 months of Obama making promises about what he would do to us and the vileness of his core supporters, I decided I would be dancing in the streets to see McCain pull an upset. 3) But now that he has lost, I feel only relief that McCain the nanny-stater, the will not be in office (with my vote) doing only a little worse than Obama.

November 7, 2008 at 3:57 PM

anon,

Fox News is reporting what **some member(s) of the McCain campaign staff** is saying about Palin. Everybody I talk to seems to recognize that the trash talk is just lies being told by people who should be sued by McCain for malpractice in that they ran the very worst campaign in living history.

November 7, 2008 at 4:02 PM

Lol anon, UFO's and dont forget, Ghosts too ;)

CMAR, I have no reason to fight with someone who obviously lacks the knowledge of my country. What he called a dog, me, Is by far more intelligent than him. I have the ability of going as low as he did but why should I? I loved his post!!!

Besides I don’t waste my time to talk to anyone who does not see beyond colour. Shameful really if you ask me. I can understand some people's dismay, but like I always say, people have to agree to disagree, cuz then what would differentiate you from the unedcuated, illiterate, backward, closed, EXTREMIST mentality? I laughed while reading the post, obviously he has many issues he needs to deal within himself. I pray to god, his soul finds peace, or else he will age before his time, LOL. Cheers!

November 7, 2008 at 4:28 PM

Cmar, if you know that those talks are lies then Fox News knows too, which makes the news report even more bizarre and the republicans even more nasty (Mccain didn't stand for her, did he?).
But fun aside, I really feel sorry for Sarah Palin. Although I don't agree with her ideas I think she is a loyal person and didn't deserve this coward treachery.

November 7, 2008 at 6:28 PM

NIW,

I love how you stand your ground and so eloquently put people in their place. You are a strong woman and great role model for women of all ages and nationalities.

November 7, 2008 at 9:51 PM

Kathy, did you see his first speech? Its amazing, for the first time in 8 years I was able to watch a president of the US and not swear nor throw shoes at the screen. Infact, I was laughing with him. I truly like Obama. Seriously I loved today, what usually is a quiet Friday, Im finally sleeping with a smile on my face ;) And I thank you sincerely for your kind words to me. But believe me, I am no role model, Im just one that says whats here, in my heart. Thanks again for your support!

Nice post. I truly like Obama and I hope he'll not dissapoint us!
I'm very glad, he won. The best choice.

November 8, 2008 at 9:13 AM

George Bush broke my country and he broke my heart. Barack Obama is a man of justice, he brings hope for us all.

It is a long wait for January 20, 2009 - when Obama takes charge.

November 8, 2008 at 6:15 PM

All I know is I've had enough of extremism on both the ultra-liberal, and the ultra-conservative sides. I've got some issues with some of his associations, but the man's got a tough job ahead and I hope he, those who oppose him, and those who support him, use wisdom. He's going to do some things right, and some things wrong. He's only human after all. Time and hindsight will tell. Good luck Mr. President. Solo

November 8, 2008 at 6:34 PM

I stumbled onto this site and will take some time learning about it. I have been too naive. I had no idea how much the world paid attention to American politics. I was truly happy and relieved at Obama's election and I hope that he does right by Iraq and its people. It has been hard, as an American, to have to sit by these past eight years, and feel that the republicans have literally stolen the presidency twice. Their antics are amazing, the dirty tricks they pull to get votes to go their way have always succeeded until now. Please know that a chubby American woman in the West thinks of you and hopes for peace.

Bless you.

I have to say, I laughed aloud when you said that Obama's was the first speech that you did not feel moved to throw shoes at the television screen! I felt EXACTLY the same way, and I even have a special pair of shoes that I always throw!

Bless you and know that your blog has helped one American have a face to the people of Iraq.

NIW,

You have even more of a reason to move to the U.S. now :)

See you in Florida??? lol

Always,

November 8, 2008 at 11:24 PM

NIW,

I can't speak for Mister Ghost, but I think you took the post too seriously. He was clearly trying imitate a stereotypical Soviet bad guy, so it doesn't seem to make sense to think he really believes you are a dog any more than he thinks Obama will put you into a re-education camp.

I think it was mostly a reaction to the colorful language you used to describe the "Obama Era" (which he was associating with the creepy worship given to communist leaders like Mao) and that you seemed to be criticizing the Bush administration for attributes you didn't really believe it possessed, as if it were just for show (you called the Bush administration "vicious" when your main beef with them is that they've been CODDLING the Iraqi government, which would make them the polar opposite of vicious).

In case nobody has pointed it out yet, you were quoted, with attribution, in the Saturday New York Times. On the op-ed page, under a collection of comments from several Iraqi bloggers. You can expect to draw a lot of traffic now.

November 9, 2008 at 5:27 AM

Madtom, I tried the trackback feature, it didnt have a direct link. Sorry

sealife, ditto. But maybe we are just expecting too much

Anon, my question now to the US people, are his tax cut ideas good? I asked a few of my American friends in Baghdad, they said it was the worst plan, and that his idea of taking from the rich will just kill the economy cuz then the rich wont invest, and will start putting their money elsewehre. Is that true?

Solo, I agree. But I think majority of people, me included, just wanted something different...

Lol Chubby American Shoe Lady, that was funny. So I guess I wasnt the only one Huh...:)

Melanie, tell u the truth, I think thats exactly whats gonna happen...Doubt HUBBY would wanna live here in AD.

Dennis, maybe your point is true, and maybe he was being satirical, and to be honest, I wasnt angry. I was just disappointed.

Hiya Anon, Yeah I realised the large number of traffic. And I did read the article in NY Times. But thanks for telling me

November 9, 2008 at 7:33 AM

NIW,

Well maybe I'll see you there someday :) We can go shoe shopping at the outlet mall!!

I saw you were curious about Obama's tax plans. Yes, in theory, they are horrible plans. At first, he said he won't tax anyone making under $250 thousand dollars, then that number changed to $200 thousand. Just weeks before election day, that number changed yet again to $120 thousand. That most recent amount affects most small business owners. If small businesses close or cut back on employees, well you can see where this is going. I guess we will just have to see. I think Obama has a lot of great ideas, but getting them to work is another story. I'm a pretty optimistic person, but honestly, I can see him realizing just what will and will not work once he sits down in the oval office and takes a real look at how things are and what can be done. Many people are hopeful, I just hope he doesn't let them down either by raising taxes or not doing anything at all.

Always,
Melanie

November 9, 2008 at 8:27 AM

very potent

November 9, 2008 at 12:53 PM

Yep Melanie, the tax situation is something I hope those in Washington take a serious look at, and work together on. There's been a lot of talk on both sides about creating jobs, but that doesn't mean anything if those jobs are going to move to other countries by giving tax breaks to large companies that in turn take those jobs out of the country in favor of cheap, exploited labor (my former job is now being done in China, as are many others.)It seems Obamas message of hope has been replaced by "I hope he doesn't let us down." The best thing that can be done in Washington is they shut their mouths, and open their eyes and ears. Solo

November 9, 2008 at 2:46 PM

NIW
RE: Obama tax plan - he wants to return to the tax structure under the Clinton era in which those who made over 250K were taxed at a somewhat higher rate. When the Republicans were in those taxes for the 1% of Americans who were making the most money were slashed - but taxes were not cuts proportionally for the middle class. I am a small business owner and I say the plan is correct. I pay $1000 US for health insurance! Things have been upside down here. I think that more than anything, it's not any specific plan he brings, but his leadership capability that is his primary asset. Simply put, he inspires confidence, and he is smart. Unlike our current president, Obama has the power to inspire and I think Americans will make efforts (e.g. donate money to victims of natural disastors, save energy, what have you) to follow his leadership because of who he is, and how he leads. This is why he is such a good choice. At least in my opinion.

I have been reading parts of your blog, and can I ask, are you in the UK? I can't tell where you are?

Are you SAFE?

My thoughts are with you. You truly are helping us, especially now that you have been quoted in national news and will have more traffic, understand the feelings of the Iraqi people. Or at least one lovely Iraqi person!

your style is that of a juvenile. but that's is not my point. it's hypocrits like yourself, that give iraq a bad name. that's all. enjoy your glow.

November 9, 2008 at 6:30 PM

Her head does not fit in the toaster oven. The toaster oven keeps my cold kitchen very warm. You know Women actually cry because Men can never conceive a child. Females tears produce a substance I understand as "Spectacular!". I think you meant to mention, "Spectacular!", when you said "Glow". "Glow" happens when you strike your slave female for inconveniently placing an exorbitant amount of "Spectacular" in your bloodstream. "Juvenile" happens when your slave female cannot explain your actions without pissing off the "Secret Police". The "Secret Police" have a love for "Playground". With "Playground" we can adapt the "Secret Police" progressively towards "Competence". In "Competence" we can choose whether to explain, "Intelligence" or just bomb the shit out of the Iraqi's. All I can do is Wonder about Olivia D'Abo ripping us off with her party lifestyle. Now that's "Intriguing", "Dumbass". I don't even know if that Olivia is alive. I thought she would get acne from hugging a Snickers Bar. Turns out she is a psychotropic female figure with birth rights... Escaped from the Circus. Anon, I still gotta ask "Hypocrite" where the Elephants go? Turns out if you are not beating your slave they tend to pee on the A/C electrical conduit. The "Secret Police" are addicted to nightmares. Another offshoot of "Spectacular". I always wanted to be more intelligent then the yellow Pokemon. Excavating with Urine....Uhh Oh....

November 9, 2008 at 9:48 PM

My question is does Obama believe that there is hell?

And what is his fundamental value system?
When we know that,we will get to the nitty gritty about his character and what he us all about when push comes to show. When the nation is in crises.

That is why we needed Sarah in the White House. But you who voted for Obama were too blind to see.

November 10, 2008 at 5:17 AM

What the American election has shown is that fear still rages in the Religious right. Some how the blindness is complete to the atrocities of it's present administration. Does it even enter their minds that the U.S. has invade more countries in the last 40 years than China and Russia combined? And now another round of ''Reganomics'' a transfer of wealth from the lower income to the wealthy. You can wrap it up in any kind of decorative paper, but it is still the same. Are not taxes to allow for the government to supply collective services for those paying taxes?
It will be interesting to watch the status quo, the economic leaders once again mess up.

November 10, 2008 at 5:37 PM

Really enjoy your blog. Sometimes it takes a person who lives outside our country to see and speak the truth of our situation here. With Obama's victory, I feel like we can finally rejoin the global community, and perhaps win back some respect.

Wishing all the best to you and your country!

November 10, 2008 at 8:47 PM

i hope president-elect obama is not only able to inspire americans to be better, but also the world. there is too much hate, corruption, fear and greed. too few people make the effort to understand and support others.

Seraphine,

You said it perfectly!

November 11, 2008 at 4:13 PM

Melanie, I agree. Oh and btw, I may be travelling to FL pretty soon. Yaaaaaaaaaaay, shoes :)

Lirun, in a bad way or good way?

Solo, do u think his tax plans will work? Hubby says its one for disaster...I would like to disagree...

Thanks CSP. Right now im in Abu Dhabi, its in the Emirates. I moved from London just before going to work in Baghdad.

Thanks Anon, I sure AM ENJOYING THE GLOW...Tough shit for you

Krystal, a curious question from someone who isnt American, what would have Palin offered that would make the US and other countries a better place?

Lol WH. I hope there wont be a mess, and if there will be god forbid, then far less disastrous than our current time.

Thanks robin. Did you read this article about this American who lives in Austria? I forgot his name, was on yahoo the other day with the headline "Its now cool to be American"

Seraphine, i agree with you and anon. Lets wait and see...

November 11, 2008 at 4:44 PM

NIW, one thing I've noticed about tax plans, they never seem to benefit the "work boots on the ground". Taxes get cut, prices go up. Our tax system is so complicated that I don't even think our own Infernal Revenue Service can understand it. I don't hold much hope for the new Government being able to fix it. Solo

November 12, 2008 at 2:25 PM

There's quite a bit more then work boots on the ground.

November 12, 2008 at 8:33 PM

How was the Post World War I Mandate in the Middle East a system? I am responsible for presenting this information as part of a College course. I'm just driving myself mad. Wikipedia.org spells out this,

"In 1914 Enver Bey's alliance with Germany led the Young Turks into the fatal step of joining Germany and Austria-Hungary in World War I, against Britain and France."

Is this entrapment?

November 13, 2008 at 3:17 AM

Obama was the right choice. I know too many people with years in the military, myself over 20, that all said they voted republican all their lives but just could not do it this time, not because of McCain, but because of the Republican leadership as a whole has absolutely lost its way. The nuts complain of Obama's wealth redistribution yet the guy that took AIG down is on a $1 MILLION Dollar a month retainer; now that is true redistribution; giving my money to the jerks that ruined the economy!!! THE PARTY OF LINCOLN!!!! He must be really pissed at these jerks!
I hope some of the nuts read this because as a party they are done if they no not change their ways, this was the first time in 30 years I voted democrat. Please read Crazy for God it gives some good insight into the nuts that try and have their way with our government. Of the people, By the People, For the people!!!! Pretty simple. No were does it say for the Far Right nut jobs or the Rich or Special. God Bless
Once a republican

November 15, 2008 at 3:07 AM

Anon, there's enough nuts on the far left to keep a whole forest full of squirrels happy too. I just hope Obama bases his decisions for appointees on capability, not reward. I do miss the little group of his campaign team that was on campus. We had some great discussions. Solo

I worry about what will happen to Iraq if the Americans move out. Will there be a civil war, particularly between the militias? What is the solution to what is happening in Mosul right now? Will Americans moving out correct the problem? What will Al Sadar do? I'm worryed that Iran will join Syria and take over Iraq. I don't want that to happen. What will the Kurds do? Lots of questions without answers.

You have not posted a new comment lately. Of course, being the Chubby Shoe Person, I am worried. I am perpetually worried. "a transfer of wealth from the lower income to the wealthy"

I'm sorry this is off topic but I have to ask. How does the lower income have their wealth transfered to the wealthy? What wealth. First, income does not equate to wealth. If your talking about taxes, and I'm looking at you whitehawk, isn't everyone in America equal, don't we all have the same stake in this county? Why do you feel that someone must pay a higher percentage of there earnings because they have a higher income? Shouldn't that in return give them more say come election time? No, I'm sure you happy the way it is, the majority get to raise the rates on the few while allowing their rates to stay the same. Speaking of blindness whitehawk, don't you see that your leaders are pitting you against the very people that that do provide jobs. The government can provide jobs, but must tax to pay its employees. The rich put its money to work by creating companies that will pay for the employees and the return on richs investment out of profit. In the long run, the government jobs will grind the economy into the ground.

I didn't vote for Obama, he scares the hell out of me with his associations, foreign money that flowed into his campaign, which is illegal I might add, and his willingness to take from you to give to me, but he is my President. I will pray for his safty and that he governs with wisdom and fairness for all. IOW, the opposite of how the left has acted the past 8 years.

November 24, 2008 at 1:18 AM

You have to have an understanding of American politics.

Sarah Palin went around the country, talking about the "real America" and how Obama "isn't like us." Both phrases are racist code words, because hard-core racists are probably the vast majority of McCain/Palin voters. The "real America" Palin so often referred to is rural, not well educated, and lily-white.

McCain/Palin decided to directly pander to the worst elements of American society (the exact same elements that have cheered on the killings of tens of thousands of Iraqis for no wrong on the part of the Iraqi people) and they hoped that the racists would be enough to carry them to an election win. Thankfully for Iraqis and Americans alike, the racists blew this one.

I'm sorry this is off topic but I have to ask. How does the lower income have their wealth transfered to the wealthy?

This is a stupid question. It is done by cutting taxes for the rich and borrowing massive amounts of money at the same time, leaving the payback on the backs of the poor and lower income classes. It's done by offshoring jobs, so that multimillionaire CEOs can collect even MORE in pay and bonuses, while former workers lose everything they own. It is done by granting no-bid contracts in places like Iraq to crony companies, forcing the taxpayer to ante up for projects not done or half done.

I don't blame "anonymous" for being afraid to reveal himself. If I were this stupid I'd hesitate for people to know who I was, too.

Well Jolly, dropping the rates on the rich raised the amount of revenue the government collected from the same group, meaning that you did not maximize the amount you could be collecting. But it felt good, didn't it. Growing the economy will take care of the deficts, if deficts remain reasonable. But workers do not grow an economy, they just work in it. The rich help grow the economy by investing in companies that create jobs. Jobs are going to go off shore and that is good for the consumer. Why do demand complete loyalty from companies when workers will change jobs three or four times before the turn thirty?

And while you like to call others stupid maybe you should look in the mirror. Your carriactures of the other side (racist, cheering of the killing of anybody) is buffoonish. BTW, I have friends from both sides of the aisle, and by far the one with the most racist is the Dems. Talking points, thats all you regurgetate.

I'm sorry to say this, but Barack Obama does not care about Iraq at all. For the past several years he has danced alongside the so-called "antiwar" movement...the people who pretend to care about Iraq but really don't care one bit. They only want to hurt Bush, even if it means jumping up and down over the problems facing Iraq, advocating abandonment, and declaring every brave effort by the Iraq people a "failure". I felt a great sense of sadness when Obama was elected, because it revealed to me that the American people either don't recognize the success made by the great people of Iraq or still hold-on to the propaganda spoon-fed to them by the media these last few years...which is that Iraq is "hopeless, can never have democracy, and nothing but a lost civil war".

Even with an Obama presidency, I feel Iraq will succeed...the Iraqi people have tried so hard, and I know in my heart that they will prevail. Hopefully, Obama will brush aside the "antiwar" types he used to get elected, and their empty suits of concern will be left flapping in the wind.

The documentary on returning Iraqi citizens. New, alright. On American pay channel. Know enough! All that killing? Humiliating how secret wars coordinate. The stench of death. Tonnes of poison for costly animals. One hideous lie after another around every turn. They are returning to a store. Oh no.

Wow, didnt know there was so many comments here. I didnt get the chance to check my blog, nor email in a long time. And I think now you know why :)

Im sorry I didnt reply to any of you. Arab Democracy, WOW! Thanks! I dont think I deserve being the blog of the month, Im flattered. THANK YOU!

Bassam, akoo ihwaya 7uthala. I just ignore the ignorant. They dont move me one bit.

Ray, THANKS!Lately I felt I lost the lustre I used to have when I first started writing. My words seem empty, empty and meaningless, but I have a mission. My mission is to say it as it is. My mission is to make people understand whats going on in Iraq. My mission is not that of pity. I dont want people to read and say "Aaaaah poor Iraqis" No. We as Iraqis have far more dignity than that. So thanks for reading me.

My partner in crime, shoe lady, lol. Im fine. Been busy with HUBBY. Thanks for your concern.

CH, do you want the truth? No one cares about Iraqis. Not the actual Iraqi govt, not the US govt, not anyone. Iraqis are left to fend for themselves, and to be honest, they learnt the hard way.

As for the other comments regarding US national policies, I cant really say much there cause I dont live in the US nor am I american. Again, lets just hope Obama does a good job. Thats all

Did you hear the good news? Obama is making it better for us already! Most people don't realize how much money there is out there. During economic times like this, there is more money to be had than ever. Because of the bailouts and economy, lenders are bending over backwards to bail you out too. Believe it or not, there is people getting tons of cheap money nowdays to start businesses, buy homes, pay off debt, and more. Bailout is for YOU
