The Great Lions of Babylon WON!!!
The GREAT LIONS OF BABYLON WON!!! You should have been there. YOu should have seen the happiness on everyones faces. You should have seen the tears on everyones cheeks. This surely is one of the greatest days and times for Iraq. For the Great Iraq. I will write more when I get to my room. As for now, Im gonna live these moments of jubilation... THE GREAT LIONS OF BABYLON WON!!!

Having read "The Great Lions of Babylon . . . " post, it was a delight to learn that Iraq beat Saudi Arabia in the 71st minute to win the Asian Cup!
May it be that this marvelous victory is just the beginning of a new sense of national unity and patriotism for the people and country of Iraq. Be certain that tens of thousands of Americans share your joy!

CONGRATS!!!! I know in my heart that winning the cup means so much more than a title to the Iraqis. It makes me appreciate sports when I hear good news like this. Now that's a game I would've loved to see!
In America, it's so materialistic. I mean, who needs millions of dollars to play a sport?! What happened to playing for the love of the game? I quit watching baseball for that very reason. "Waaah, we want more millions, or we're not gonna play anymore, waaah."
Again, congratulations. This means so much more than just a trophy.

Yesssssssssssss, we wonnnnnnnnn...Thanx to all of you. I wish I had my cam or even my MP3 recorder yesterday. It was one of those great moments that will never be repeated. I have never ever witnessed such happiness. True happiness and joy from the heart. The heart of all the Iraqis, Sunnis, shia's kurds, christians, turkmans. Everyone, everyone was dancing. A scene that brought joy to all of us.
