The Mark of my Freedom
Fifteen years ago, I called myself the neurotic Iraqi wife. This was my profile: A confession, I have finally joined the neurotic wife club!!!Is there such a thing? This blog is about me being an Iraqi wife whose husband chose to rebuild his country over building his new life with his new wife, ME!!! Fast forward, and today we are no longer married. But we are co parents to two beautiful kids. Am I still neurotic? Maybe, maybe not. I guess you will just have to find out :)
I am an Iraqi woman who absolutely adores her HUBBY, but HUBBY is too busy rebuilding the country.

Confessions of a Pilgrim
My family remembers with pride those in our lineage who fought during our American Revolution. Some ancesters died for freedom, and others sacrificed and suffered for helping establish a new democracy. Freedom was worth the price. Over 200 years later, we mention their names with such pride.
Listening to your experiences, it struck me that you are becoming part of a great moment in history and your decendents will mention the names of you and your husband with the same pride. "They were there and helped build the new democratic Iraq". It's wonderful. Congratulations and best wishes for the future.
I am filled with awesome joy at the turn out. Prayers from the US to all of the Iraqi's. I am very excited to see the turn out there. This shows that your people are determined to make things better.
You have a wonderful spirit and my family and I pray for your success and freedom. I believe the Iraqis that are standing up for their country are hero's. Pls let all know that the United States has no desire in Iraq except to help bring freedom. We look forward to coming home and a relationship with a new free Iraq.

believe in liberty; but the Iraqi "GI" will be there because
his mom showed him the picture of her ink-stained finger....
that started his country's re-birth. And he will only have to have
the courage his mother had all those years ago........ if such courage
still exists.
