Cease Fire....The words...The words the whole world was waiting for...After what??? After todays massacre in Qana??? After the corpses of children being taken out from the rubble??? Israel are bombing places that Hizbollah militias are in.....Aha...yup....so true....these kids, 4 yr olds, 6 yr olds....they are all hizbollah militias....they carried weapons...yessss Israel....You are so right!!! so right in your evaluations!!!.....

Yes NIW those were children, children that Hizbollah locked in the cellar of the building, children that hizbollah did not evacuate from a war zone, children that hizbollah are using to change world opinions. Don't be fooled, hizbollah put those children in that place and then fired missiles from that place, from right behind the building. This is a tragedy and the children were innocent, but they were also guilty, Hizbollah made them guilty, made them targets, and killed them as sure as if they had personally cut their throats. Just look past the propaganda. I know it's hard when their innocent children, but Hizbollah knew your reaction to their death, if they thought you would react to puppy dogs, they would have used a kennel.

The comment about puppy dogs has nothing to do with Arab children, it's about perceptions, here in the US if the terrorist wanted to have the same effect, they would have the "enemy" slaughter puppies or kittens, people here would be enraged and it would demonize the "enemy".
Even the Bush administration used this. Back before the war Fox news ran a video with some Iraqi bio weapons people injecting a puppy with stuff. In the video you see the Iraqi Dr repeatedly poking the puppy with a big needle to see it react, or the lack of a reaction as the stuff took effect. I remember I had to change the channel fast as it was making my mother cry. I was furious at fox for running such a video. you should be furious at Hizbollah for killing those children.

I use the criminal-police analogy. Do we get angry at our police because criminals commit crimes? No, we thank the police when they effectively investigate and arrest criminals.
Israel has demonstrated that she will leave people alone who don't commit acts of violence against her. Take the examples of Egypt and Jordan. No problems for years now.
Israel was preparing to withdraw from portions of the west bank just as it had from Gaza.

The New York Times has announced that the entire world is outraged at Israel’s behavior in bombing Qana. So it must be true. Or is it?
Nothing is more heartrending than the suffering of children. Emotionally we all want to put the blame on the bombs, the bombers, and those who ordered the bombing. And yet that is obviously a twisted perversion of reality. Because it is the explicit policy of Islamist terror groups to hide behind children, shooting missiles at Israeli civilians all the time. The gains to the terrorists are enormous. Israelis inevitably feel guilty about the unwanted casualties, but they don’t know what else to do in the face of constant attacks on their own children at home. The Muslim masses are predictably outraged because they only hear one side of the story. And the Leftist media continue to lie—- there is no other word for it—- about who is choosing to expose children to danger.
So the seeds are planted from the beginning. The BBC and the New York Times have labeled the black hats and the white hats for years and years. We are seeing just another replay of Leftist propaganda since Stalin—- who was the innocent victim of Western aggression until decades after his death, when a few old Lefties sheepishly admitted his crimes. Communism killed some 100 million innocents in the 20th century, according to the authoritative Black Book of Communism (Livre Noire du Communism in the original French).
And yet, the most famous intellectuals of the 20th century served this murderous ideology. We are simply seeing a repeat today, with the usual suspects on the Left siding with Islamic fascism just as they took sides with the Leftist fascism of Stalin and Mao.
The Qana story is just a replay of Abu Ghraib, the myth that Saddam had no WMDs, the Wilson-Plame bedroom farce, and on and on. It has just become a kind of reflex of the Left: Israel and the United States are always wrong. Everything is set up for the same mendacious narrative.
Hezbollah killed the children of Qana, just as it killed the children of Haifa. Hezbollah is Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his fellow criminals of the mullahcracy in Tehran, who created the Hezbo monster with malice aforethought to “wipe Israel off the map.” There’s no mystery here. They are dead serious about a second genocide against the Jews of Israel. There has never been any effort to lie about it on the part of the Khomeini cult in Tehran. So we know who is responsible.
And yet, the “liberal” media always blame the good guys. There is something twisted and perverse about the media narrative, some sense of delight in enabling the overt malice of the Islamofascists. Because the media know. They know what’s going on. They are just playing dumb, trying to turn their easily-led audiences against those they hate the most. The media take an almost sexual delight in facilitating the murderous malice of Nasrallah and Ahmadinejad. In the calculus of moral responsibility, the New York Times and its ilk must therefore be held to blame in equal measure with the aggressor. “If it bleeds, it leads,” is their working slogan, and it is hard to evade the thought that the biggest “journalists” and editors have learned to enjoy that game, that sense of importance, that arrogation of power. They are co-conspirators in the slaughter of innocents.
The Leftist media will now tell us who won in Lebanon. They know, because they make the rules. When they announce that Israel lost, a frisson of delight will shiver the Left around the world. Muslims will hand out candy in the streets. And the world will become much more dangerous.
Yet our permanent Ruling Class will cling to its power, sneering at time-serving politicians with undisguised contempt. When George Bush and Condi Rice are history, Pinch Sulzberger and the BBC think they will still be there, exercising their monopoly on permissible thinking in the world.
Yet everybody knows that if Hezbollah did not exist there would be a solid peace between Israel and Lebanon, just as there is between Israel and Jordan. Both countries would thrive on peace, just as both are suffering today.
There are only two obstacles to a true and lasting peace: Tehran and the worldwide Left. Both must be defeated, if children on all sides are to live and thrive, and enjoy normal lives in the Middle East.

Where is the outrage for Israeli kids killed by Hezbollah rockets? One Israeli weapon that may or may not have been targeted at an area where Hezbollah was firing rockets kills 50+ people and the world is ready to take Israel's head. Yet Hezbollah fires nearly 2000 unguided rockets doing their best to intentionally hit civilian areas in Israel and they are heroic defenders of Lebanon? What kind of crazy world do we live in where people can ignore NEARLY 2000 rockets fired at civilians and blame the party that is firing back trying to stop the rockets for all the suffering?
One party has it within its grasp to stop all of the violence immediately. I will give you a hint...it isn't Israel. Hezbollah could stop the violence immediately by returning the soldiers they invaded Israel to kidnap that started all of this and by stopping the launching of rockets into Israel. But they don't...why? Why is there no outrage about that? Two very simple things that could end ALL of the bloodshed on both sides of the border. But Hezbollah won't do it. Why does nobody see them as the bad guy for that?

You recognize that mindless hatred of others is wrong. I don't blame you for being upset at what Israel is doing in Lebanon...I am horrified at the carnage as well...but until people like you who are enlightened stand up and tell the world that the groups like Hezbollah are the problem (not Israel), nothing will change.
When a bunch of arabs or muslims show up in public somewhere to protest what Israel is doing, you are right...nobody cares...because the world expects muslims and arabs to hate Israel. When Hezbollah or Hamas or Al Qaeda or Sadr's militia kill a bunch of civilians, nobody cares...because the world expects radical islamic groups to kill civilians. They specialized in it in Iraq! So Why join the traditional chorus blaming Israel for this? Why not look deeper and realize what somebody else pointed out. Egypt agreed to recognize Israel and signed a peace accord. Israel hasn't attacked Egypt since, and Egypt works hard to make sure that nobody attacks Israel from within its lands. The same can be said for Jordan. Syria and Lebanon on the other hand refuse to look for peace with Israel. They allow armed terrorist groups to operate in their lands and attack Israel. And Israel responds by trying to attack the terrorists.
How is Israel supposed to respond? It is easy to get angry at them for the civilian casualties, but what else would you prefer that they do? Release more militants in exchange for their two soldiers? So Hezbollah can claim victory again? So Hezbollah can keep firing missiles into Israel? How is Israel supposed to respond? They left Lebanon...they let the UN put observers into Lebanon...they fulfilled their part of the UN resolution. But Lebanon didn't. Lebanon let Hezbollah alone and let Syria arm them with thousands of rockets whose only purpose is to be fired into Israel. So how is Israel supposed to respond when their land is invaded and thousands of rockets rain down on their cities?
If Hezbollah wore uniforms and put their bases out away from civilian areas, Israel could fight them without risking civilian lives. But Hezbollah doesn't do that. They launch missiles from school yards and hide inside apartment buildings. Then when Israel responds, they show pictures on TV of bombed out schools and destroyed apartment buildings...and everybody blames Israel. When will people in the middle east see those images for what they are? When will people in the middle east and around the world realize that the reactions they are feeling and the anger towards Israel is EXACTLY what Hezbollah wanted when they fired rockets from civilian areas. The destruction of the UN post on the border is EXACTLY what Hezbollah wanted when they used it as cover to fire rockets into Israel. The UN commander in the post even documented prior to his death that Hezbollah was firing into Israel using the post as cover. So when will the rest of the world see these things and stop reacting the way Hezbollah wants you to react? When will you blame Hezbollah for using civilians as cover?
Open your eyes and stop reacting the way Hezbollah wants you to react.
